Karen Mok's "THE BIG BIG SHOW Hong Kong - Home Venue Limited Edition" tickets will go on public sale at 12 PM on November 10th. The concert has sparked online discussion, with imaginative responses fueling anticipation for Karen's performance.
"CTF Life Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance 40th Anniversary Presentation: Karen Mok THE BIG BIG SHOW Hong Kong - Home Venue Limited Edition" will be held on December 20th at the Kai Tak Stadium. Karen Mok, as the first Chinese female pop singer to hold a concert at the Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest), brings the joy of reuniting with her "family" and the warmth of "home" to the Kai Tak Stadium, sharing this experience with everyone. Tickets are priced at $1380, $1080, $880, and $680, and will go on public sale at 12 PM on November 10th on Hong Kong Ticketing, Damai.cn, and Fun Island.
The organizers held a press conference earlier to announce details of the "Home" concert, which immediately sparked heated discussions among netizens. Discussions centered on whether the nostalgic setlist would include several Mok-style love songs such as "Hiroshima Mon Amour," "He Doesn't Love Me," "Slowly Falling in Love with You," "Love," "Cloudy Day," "If Without You," "Radio Love Song," and "Suddenly," and which classic Cantonese songs would be included. The guest list for the "Big Show" mainland tour includes Wu Bai, Nicholas Tse, Tanya Chua, Huang Pin-yuan, Lin Zhixuan, Jerry Yan, Cheer Chen, Wallace Chung, Richie Jen, Tia Ray, Leo Ku, Vanness Wu, Chang Chen-yue, Tan Jianci, Leah Dou, Law Kar-ying, Han Hong, and Huang Zihongfan—a veritable constellation of stars. This led to speculation about who would be the most suitable guest for the Hong Kong "Home" concert. Many netizens responded with engaging and imaginative responses, making everyone eagerly anticipate Karen's "Big Show" concert, to be held on December 20th at the Kai Tak Stadium.
After accumulating 12 performances, the stage production for the Hong Kong leg of "A Show" is of course top-notch, with vivid and three-dimensional auditory and visual effects. The music and program arrangement combines Chinese and Western cultures. Karen will be joined by a live band, her limited-time rock band Karen Mok & The Masters, and a large orchestra arranged by FIF, including members of HKYO. Combining the venue's giant stage and LED screen, along with stage mechanisms and various changes, the vast-scale naked-eye 3D visual effects can be seen without special glasses. In addition, a limited setlist specially designed for "home" will be presented to the audience on the stage of the Kai Tak main venue, presenting a spectacular "A Show" tour to the audience.
